Google myself!

As Kevin J.H. Dettmar mentioned in the article “I Google Myself”, it is embarrassing admitting that you search your name on the internet. And in all honesty, I don’t do it! But, when I tried it out for the first time the other day…..I was shocked! The shock didn’t come so much from the links that were attached to my name as much as another part. First off, I found an old twitter account that I had started years back and that I think was hacked somehow! I didn’t find that too disturbing and thankfully still don’t since I haven’t found anything bad linked to that account (such as pics, fake and false information, etc.). I also found a news article of someone who posted a picture of me when I went to church with my mother, who lives in jersey. This wasn’t surprising either since the photographer asked for my permission and name at the church in case they do decide to use my photograph. Now, let’s get to what really shocked me! When I went to the images that were linked with my name, only a few of my own personal photographs came up. Pictures that I had posted a few years back on social media such as Instagram. And then there was my best friend. HOW DID SHE GET THERE!? She doesn’t have the same last name as me. She doesn’t live with me. We don’t share anything in common so why are her pictures coming up as my own? There were more pictures of her than of me! Lol There has to be some kind of link that I just can’t figure out because why out of all people do her pictures come out?! Got me kind of wondering…. Did she steal my identity?! ….. no im just joking! Lol But what can be done to remove them?
